Biography

Create imaSupriya Polley was born in 1981 in Howrah, Kolkata.

In 2004 he received his degree of Bachelor in Visual Art from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata. In 2007 he received his degree of Bachelor in Visual Art from Govt. College of Art & Craft, Kolkata.

Supriya has participated in several group shows:

In 1999 he took part in a group show at Sarat Sadan, Howrah. In 1999 he took part in the annual exhibition of Indian Society Of Oriental Art. In 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006 and 2007 he participated in the annual exhibitions of Govt. College Of Art & Craft, Kolkata. In 2006 he exhibited in a group exhibition at Birla Academy Of Art & Culture, Kolkata. In 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2007 he participated in Charukala Utsav & Exhibition, Kolkata. In 2002 he took part in Red & Black Art Exhibition, Kolkata. In 2007 he participated in a group show at Artists' Centre, Mumbai. In 2007, 2008, 2013 and 2014 he took part in the annual exhibitions of Birla Academy Of Art & Culture, Kolkata. In 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 he participated in group shows at Academy Of Fine Arts, Kolkata. In 2014 he exhibited his works at Park Hotel, Kolkata. In 2015 he exhibited in a group show at ICCR Bengal Gallery. In 2007, 2008 and 2011 he took part in the 72nd, 73rd & 75th annual exhibition of Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata. In 2013 he took part in Gen Next VII at Aakriti Art Gallery, Kolkata. In 2015 he participated in the 2nd annual exhibition by Emamichisel Art, Kolkata. In 2017 he participated in The Winter Sale at Gallery 7, Kalaghoda in Mumbai.

Supriya has won several awards:

In 2002 he won an award from Red & Black Art Exhibition in Kolkata. From 2005 - 2007 he received the Kishori Roy Award from Govt. College Art & Craft, Kolkata. In 2007 he won the Silver Brush Award from All India Golden Brush Competition in Kolkata. In 2007 he was selected for Euro Art Tour, Mumbai. In 2008 - 2009 he received a Certificate of Merit from 73rd annual exhibition of Academy Of Fine Arts.

Supriya lives and works in Kolkata.
